Baptised 28th August 1898 at St Mary’s and All Saints, Bingham.

Married July 1917 to Susan Mary Mooney in Dublin

Children: Alice born 1919, Arthur born 1921, Bernard born 1922, Redvers born 1928 and Pauline born 1934

Died 27th November 1957 age 59 in Leicester

1901 Census

Age 2 living with Hannah 65, his grandmother and mother Mary Elizabeth 24.  They lived on Nottingham Road, Radcliffe on Trent.

1911 Census

Age 12 living with father Arthur, 33 a fishmonger, mother Mary Elizabeth 34, sister Cissy May 10, and brother Samuel Ambrose, 1. They lived on Back Lane, Radcliffe on Trent. The house had three rooms.

Age 15, a number taker and member of the National Union of Railwaymen, Colwick Junction branch.
